Searching Stories - Buscando Histórias

In 2016, at the invitation of my dear partner Paulo Murilo, I spent two weeks in the region known as Triângulo Mineiro. We were looking for storytellers for a documentary. This region was transforming dramatically since the arrival of electricity and the internet, and the tradition of gathering around storytellers was ending. In these two weeks, I had the opportunity to meet incredible people and places. These images bring together a little of what I experienced there.

Em 2016, a convite do meu querido parceiro Paulo Murilo, passei duas semanas na região conhecida como Triângulo Mineiro. Estávamos a procura de contadores de histórias para um documentário. Essa região estava se transformando vertiginosamente desde a chegada da energia elétrica e da internet, e a tradição de se juntar em volta dos contadores de histórias estava acabando. Nessas duas semanas tive a oportunidade de conhecer pessoas e lugares incríveis. Essas imagens reúnem um pouco do que experienciei lá.
